(Cool, TX) — A Parker County fighter pilot who died in the Vietnam War is now home.

Air Force Colonel Roy Knight Jr. of Millsap was shot down over Laos in 1967.  His remains were found earlier this year and identified through dental records.  Knight’s youngest son Bryan last saw his father when he was five years old.  Now a captain with Southwest Airlines, Bryan Knight flew his dad’s remains to Love Field on Thursday morning.

Roy Knight was buried on Saturday in Cool, just west of Weatherford, with full military honors.
