Ex-A&M Walk-On, Luke Laufenberg, Dies Of Cancer

(Dallas, TX) — Former Texas A&M walk-on Luke Laufenberg is dead.

His father, ex-Cowboys quarterback Babe Laufenberg, announced the 21-year-old’s death from a rare form of leukemia this morning. Laufenberg also tweeted his song was inspirational and left a hole in the heart which will never be filled. Luke Laufenberg joined the Aggies in 2016 before transferring to a junior college in Arizona in 2017 where he learned he had cancer.

Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett called Laufenberg an amazing young man who fought well.
