Trial For Mystic Accused In Arlington Murder

(Dallas, TX) — The trial is underway for a self-proclaimed witch accused of planning the 2012 murders of an elderly Arlington couple.

47 year old Dephne Wright, who claims to be a mystic, was contacted by a family member of the victims to remove a curse from their business. Instead, police say she hired two men to break into the couple’s home and kill them because they owed her money.

One man was sentenced to life last fall. His nephew is still awaiting trial.
