Head On Collision In Hood County Sends 7 To The Hospital

(Cresson, TX) – State Troopers are investigating a traffic accident that injured four adults and three kids in Hood County on Tuesday afternoon.

The Department of Public Safety says the accident happened around 2:30 on State Highway 171 north of Hwy. 377 in Cresson, when a Dodge pickup crossed the center line and hit a Toyota pickup. A Louisiana man, his wife, and their three young sons were in the Dodge, and were taken to Fort Worth hospitals. The Toyota’s 57-year-old driver and his 22-year-old son are also hospitalized in Fort Worth.

The current condition on all the injured is unknown.
