(Mineral Wells, Tx) – An effort is underway in Mineral Wells to possibly recall that city’s Mayor.

A petition is circulating to oust embattled Mayor Christopher Perricone.  The petition cites 11 reasons why the organizers believe Perricone should be removed from office, they include conflicts of interest, alleged perjury and ongoing lawsuits.  Perriccone’s current term as Mineral Wells Mayor runs through May.

To make this happen, recall organizers need 1,828 signatures from city residents that are currently eligible to vote.  The petition must be turned in to the City of Mineral Wells by this Friday, August 30th.
