Nowitzki Witnesses Zeke Hoopla At DFW

(Dallas, TX) — Former Dallas Maverick Dirk Nowitzki is tweeting about the splash made by Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott’s arrival at DFW Airport on Tuesday.

Nowitzki was at the airport when Elliott arrived from Mexico to resume contract talks with the Cowboys. He says he’d just flown in from China, and joked that he thought all the reporters and fans at the airport were there to see him, only to find out Zeke was the center of attention.

Nowitzki retired from the Mavericks at the end of last season after playing his entire 21-season career with the team.
