(Austin, TX) — Health officials in Texas are reporting the state’s first vaping-related death.
The Texas Department of State Health Services says an older woman from North Texas died of a lung disease linked to e-cigarettes. Her name hasn’t been released. The state has nearly 100 cases now, mostly younger people, including teens. But there are more than a thousand cases reported from nearly every state.
Health experts urge people to stop vaping until they figure out what’s going on.
