(Joshua, Tx) – The City of Joshua will soon be looking for a person to lead the Fire Department.
After 10 years on the job, Joshua Fire Chief Wayne Baker has announced his plan to retire at the end of the month. During his tenure as Chief, Baker tells the Cleburne Times Review many things were accomplished, including opening the new fire station, the purchase of a new fire engine and new safety equipment for the firefighters. In his 26-year career, Baker previously worked for the Cedar Hill, Alvarado and Keene Fire Departments.
The department will host a retirement party for Baker from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Joshua Fire Station
