(Granbury, Tx) – After only two months on the job, the new Hood County Fire Marshal has given her notice.

The Hood County News reports Ciji Montemayor, resigned last week as Fire Marshal after just two months on the job.  She has agreed to work part-time in that office until a new full-time fire marshal can be hired.

Montemayor has also agreed to help the county with a federal drill scheduled for next month at the Emergency Operations Center. The drills are required due to the county’s proximity to the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.
