(Fort Worth, Tx) – Cowboy poet, actor and western singer, Red Steagall was honored over the weekend with a bronze statue in front of the Cowtown Coliseum in the Historic Stockyards.
The sculpture titled “Red Steagall, Always Ridin’ for the Brand in Fort Worth, Texas” was unveiled in a ceremony Saturday during Steagall’s 29th Annual Cowboy Gathering. The statue was made possible through donations to The Friends Red Steagall. The group says they wanted to give Steagall something special for his 80th birthday.
