Safewise has released their 2019 list of the 50 Safest Cities in Texas. Many are right here in North Texas. Trophy Club and Colleyville are highest on the list at number 4 and 5. Keller was 14th, Southlake is 19th, River Oaks – on the west side of Fort Worth – is #25. New to the list this year is Midlothian at #34 and Weatherford at #45. Rounding out the list at #50 is Mansfield.
Some of the other cities on the overall list of Safest in Texas are Granbury at #74, Azle at #90, Joshua at #93, Stephenville at #99, #103 White Settlement, #115 Burleson, #128 Cleburne, #151 Hillsboro, #231 Keene, #242 Fort Worth. Safewise looked at the crime stats in 287 Texas cities to determine their rankings.
