(Fort Worth, TX) — The Christmas tree is now in place at Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth.
The 50-foot fir tree arrived in town on Monday morning. Workers lifted it into place by about 9 a.m. and spent the day dressing it with decorations and about 50-thousand LED lights. The annual tree-lighting ceremony is scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m., free to the public.
As always, Santa Claus will make the scene.
