(Fort Worth, TX) — The Fort Worth ISD may redraw its school boundaries for the first time in 20 years, and parents want to know what to expect.
Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Dr. Kent Scribner says the idea is to shift some of the student population around, since some schools are overcrowded, and others don’t have enough students. The district says nothing has been decided yet, and the final proposal will come after the winter break.
The district will then meet with the families of affected students before putting the plan into effect.
