Dallas Woman Is Millionaire For A Day Due To Bank Error

(Dallas, TX) — A Dallas woman is describing what it was like to be a multi-millionaire for a day.

Ruth Balloon recently checked the balance in her Legacy Texas Bank account and found there was an extra 37-million-dollars in it. She told her husband, who called the bank and asked about it. The bank explained that it was a clerical error, apologized for the mistake, and moved the money to the right account.

Balloon says she hoped the bank would give her a little reward of some sort. But the bank says their internal procedures would have caught it anyway.
