Health Alert Issued For Chicken Soup Products

(Undated) — Health officials are warning Texans about a misbranded chicken product.

A health alert was issued for chicken soups by Canyon Creek Soup Company after complaints of allergic reactions. The products contain wheat and soy, but those ingredients are not listed on the label. The recall affects 16-ounce cartons with the label “HEB Meal Simple Butter Chicken Soup” with a best-by date of January 21st, 2020. The soup is made in Canada and shipped to stores throughout the United States, including HEB stores in Texas.

In North Texas, HEB stores are located in Hudson Oaks, Cleburne, Burleson, Stephenville and Waxahachie.
