(Columbus, OH)  —  Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott’s father faces several charges in Columbus, Ohio, after an exotic cat that he owned got out of hand.

Stacy Elliott owned a serval, which is a type of wild cat from Africa, and it reportedly escaped from his yard in October and attacked a neighbor’s dog.  A sheriff’s deputy shot and killed the cat.  Elliott faces a total of 21 charges from various Ohio agencies.

He reportedly didn’t have the necessary permit to own an exotic animal in Ohio.
