(Mineral Wells, Tx) – On top of his legal troubles and problems with city council members, Mineral Wells Mayor Christopher Perricone now has trouble at home.
According to the Mineral Wells Index, Katie Beth Perricone filed for divorce on December 23, just two days after police were called to the Perricone’s home on a domestic dispute call. At the time, Police found no offense had been committed. Two days before the domestic dispute call, the mayor was indicted by a Palo Pinto County grand jury on a charge of aggravated perjury.
The first-time mayor, whose term ends in early May, was censured by the council last year on accusations of violating three city charter violations. Perricone responded by suing the city.
The 38-year-old mayor said he would not seek re-election and is now one of four Republican candidates seeking the District 60 seat in the Texas House.
