(College Station, TX) — Texas A&M University is announcing that one of its students has tested negative for the coronavirus.
Samples from the student were sent to the Centers for Disease Control for testing last week. Officials with the Brazos County Health District started an investigation on Thursday when the male student showed symptoms after returning from Wuhan, China, where the current coronavirus outbreak started.
Health officials now say it’s safe for students to attend classes at Texas A&M.
