Baylor Student Tested For Coronavirus

(Waco, TX) — A Baylor University student is being tested for coronavirus.

The university confirmed Friday that the Waco-McLennan Public Health officials are checking out a student who became ill after recently traveling from China. The student is isolated to a dorm room, and the university says it is making sure the student’s needs are met during isolation.

A news release put out by the Waco Health Department says the test was done Thursday but did not mention a date for the results.
