Ellis County Declares Itself Sanctuary For The Unborn

(Waxahachie, TX) — Ellis County is declaring itself the first “sanctuary county for the unborn” in Texas.

County commissioners unanimously approved the resolution this week. The statement doesn’t have the force of law, but makes it clear that county leaders will promote pro-life initiatives.

There are no abortion clinics in Ellis County, and the county judge says he plans to keep it that way.
