Woman Takes Stolen Ambulance On Joyride To Louisiana

(Dallas, TX) — A woman is under arrest for driving a stolen Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance to Louisiana.

Officials say a crew at Dallas Fire Station 53 on John West Road discovered the ambulance had been stolen when they tried to respond to a call, and it was gone. Dallas Fire-Rescue tracked the ambulance to the Shreveport suburb of Bossier City, where Louisiana state troopers recovered it.

They also arrested the woman who was caught driving it, identified as 19 year old Kendall Tyson.
