(Arlington, TX) —  The Dallas Renegades are already down one game in the first XFL season, but the crowd didn’t seem to mind.

More than 17-thousand football fans were in Globe Life Park on Sunday to see the home team drop the season opener to the St. Louis BattleHawks, 15-9.  Many of the fans seemed to be excited that there was football after the end of the Cowboys’ season.  The Renegades will be on the road next Sunday against the Los Angeles Wildcats.

The Houston Roughnecks are off to a winning start.  They defeated the Los Angeles Wildcats 37-to-17.
