(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth officials are ordering various public venues to reduce the number of people they admit in order to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Mayor Betsy Price announced the regulation on Monday, and it took effect at midnight.  Restaurants, bars, gyms, stores, churches, and event centers are required to cut occupancy at least by half, not to exceed 125 people.

Tarrant County commissioners will meet today to discuss what more can be done.
