TWC Waives Certain Regulations On Unemployment Insurance

(Undated) —  The Texas Workforce Commission is waiving certain regulations over unemployment insurance.

The agency announced today the work search requirement is temporarily not necessary to get benefits.  They also temporarily waived the one week wait for benefits.  The moves are due to coronavirus.
