(Austin, TX) —  Texas restaurant dining areas, bars, and gyms are being told to close for the next two weeks due to coronavirus.

Governor Greg Abbott issued the order Thursday citing recommendations by the CDC and state health officials.  Abbott says people can use the drive-through to buy food and grocery stores are still open.  He also banned gatherings of more than ten people.

The governor noted the executive order was not a shelter-in-place but just applying CDC recommendations to the state.
