(Fort Worth, TX) —  A Fort Worth bakery is keeping itself afloat during the coronavirus pandemic with a particular novelty item.

Tareka Lofton, owner of Loft 22 Cakes, says her business specializes in wedding cakes, but about 30 weddings canceled their orders when stay-at-home directives took effect.  An employee suggested she make a cake that looked like a roll of toilet paper, and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing.

Lofton says she’s sold 200 of the 50-dollar cakes in two-weeks.  She says even Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price got one.
