North Texas Wellness Company Gets Warning From AG

(Arlington, TX) — A North Texas health spa is apologizing after being warned by Attorney General Ken Paxton over coronavirus prevention.

Resurgence Wellness in Arlington posted on social media it was not trying to scam anyone into thinking IV vitamin infusions would prevent coronavirus. The company says they were simply trying to focus on immune boosting in general and never claimed the infusions would cure the virus.

Paxton and the Federal Trade Commission sent a letter to Resurgence Wellness saying the comments may violate the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Consumer Protection Act.
