(Granbury, Tx) – A 74-year-old Hood County woman has died after being diagnosed with the Coronavirus.

According to the Hood County News, Diane Simons had been in intensive care at Lake Granbury Medical Center for three weeks.  Family members say they don’t know where Simons contracted the virus but that she did suffer from underlying medical conditions.  Simons lived in the River Run subdivision.

She is the second person from Hood County to die after testing positive for COVID-19.
