Arlington ISD Food Prep Worker Tests Positive For Virus

(Arlington, TX) — Arlington ISD says one of its elementary schools that serves as a meal pickup site is closed for cleaning after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

District officials say the employee started to have symptoms Friday and tested positive on Sunday. The employee prepared meals in the kitchen at Swift Elementary School, and had no contact with families picking up meals at curbside.

The school is closed to be disinfected, and families are being directed to other food pickup sites. Other employees have been notified of the situation.
