Texas State Parks Re-Open Today

(Austin, Tx) – Lake Mineral Wells, Possum Kingdom, Cleburne State Park and Dinosaur Valley in Glen Rose are among the many State Parks being allowed to re-open today as part of Governor Abbott’s phased-in plan to restart the Texas economy.

Most parks will reopen for day use only, no groups larger than 5 and park events are still cancelled. Two weeks ago, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department was ordered to close the state park system until public health and safety conditions improved.
