Arlington ISD Plans In-Person Graduations For July

(Arlington, TX) — The Arlington ISD Class of 2020 will have in-person graduation ceremonies.

All seven of the district’s high schools will hold commencement exercises in mid-July 13 at UT Arlington’s College Park Center. Superintendent Dr. Marcelo Cavazos said the district’s seniors strongly preferred having an in-person ceremony even if it had to be put off until July.

District officials says the facility will be sanitized after each ceremony and social distancing will be in effect.
