Abbott To Meet With Trump Today Regarding Pandemic

(Austin, TX) — Gov. Greg Abbott plans to meet with President Donald Trump at the White House on today to discuss the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Last Friday, Abbott allowed Texas restaurants, retail outlets, malls and movie theaters to reopen at 25-percent capacity and then phase 2 with salons begins tomorrow. The president has been encouraging the states to reopen their economies and spoke favorably of Abbott’s move.
