(Austin, TX)  —  The Texas National Guard is going to be disinfecting nursing homes across the state.

Governor Greg Abbott announced the deployment of Facilities Disinfection teams to go through the homes to make sure the coronavirus can’t spread.  Abbott says he’s grateful for the National Guard’s work during the pandemic.

The state has seen several outbreaks of the virus in nursing homes.
