(Wichita Falls, Tx) – Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls is moving forward with an invitation to join the Texas Tech system.

The MSU Board of Regents made the decision at Thursday’s meeting and say more details will be presented to the Board on August 6th.  MSU was founded in 1922 as Wichita Falls Junior College.

The Texas Tech University System is comprised of four institutions and operates on more than a dozen locations throughout the State of Texas.
