(Burleson, TX) —  The girlfriend of a Burleson man accused in a standoff and RV fire claims he wasn’t trying to hurt anyone.

Sophia Lowrey tells Fort Worth Star-Telegram she was never threatened by William Sheid but the two did have an argument on Monday before the fire. Lowrey isn’t sure why Sheid set their RV ablaze but noted he also got into a dispute with his mother and aunt after their argument.

Sheid was eventually arrested by a Tarrant County Tactical Team.  Bond is set at $11,000.
