(Fort Worth, Tx) – A car that went into a ravine in west Fort Worth is discovered days later by a passing motorist that pulled over for a pitstop.
A man from Whitney was driving on West Loop 820 near Team Ranch Rd. Tuesday evening when he pulled over to let his young grandson go to the bathroom. He spotted a black Honda in a ravine, called 911 to report it, then left the scene. Police had a hard time trying to find the wreckage because of the tall grass and it wasn’t visible from the road. They eventually did find it and determined the vehicle had been there not for hours, but several days. Emergency responders found two people inside, one deceased and one miraculously still alive.
The driver of the Honda, a 33-year-old Pelican Bay man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The passenger, 33-year-old Micah Foster of Azle was pronounced dead at the scene.
