(Burleson, Tx) – An arrest has been made in a fatal hit-and-run accident that took the life of a Burleson High School student.

Late Monday night, 16-year-old Tre Allison was killed when the car he was riding in was struck by another vehicle and crashed into a tree on NW John Jones Drive in Burleson.  Allsion was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of that vehicle, 29-year-old Eric Padilla reportedly left the scene.

Police say Padilla was tracked down, arrested and charged with a Second-Degree Felony count of causing an accident involving a death.  Padilla is in the Johnson County Jail with bail set at $250,000.
