Report: Cowboys Make June 19th Paid Holiday

(Frisco, TX) — The Dallas Cowboys appear to be making Juneteeth a paid day off.

A source tells The Dallas Morning News the team will start making June 19th a holiday starting this Friday. Juneteeth commemorates the day Union soldiers told slaves in Galveston, Tx. that the Civil War was over, and they were now free.
