(Fort Worth, TX) — The city of Fort Worth plans to reopen its convention center by late next month, even with coronavirus cases on the rise in Tarrant County.
The county health director believes the steep increase in coronavirus cases could have resulted from the Memorial Day weekend and graduation ceremonies. The city is deep cleaning the convention center in hopes of hosting the Texas Sheriff’s Association convention at the end of July.
