UPDATE:  Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley issues order requiring masks be worn in businesses and public places effective 6pm Friday.

(Fort Worth, TX)  —  A mask ordinance for Tarrant County is reportedly expected to be announced today.

Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price stated that there will be an update on the matter in the morning.  Dallas County has a mask mandate in place until August.  It requires masks or face coverings for employees and customers inside businesses.

Noncompliant businesses can be fined up to $500.
