(Fort Worth, TX)  —  Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley wants all public and non-religious private schools to be virtual through late September.

He issued an order Monday saying it was important to keep kids out of the classroom due to coronavirus.  Fort Worth ISD was planning to start in-person classes next month, but will now be online-only for at least six weeks.  Grapevine-Colleyville ISD will also go online-only.

Whitley’s order is in effect through September 28th.
