(Fort Worth, TX)  —  Fort Worth ISD officials say they’ll follow the county’s order to offer only online learning for the first few weeks of the new school year.

School starts on August 17th, and district officials are working to prepare students, teachers, and parents for virtual instruction.  On Tuesday, the board approved more than $2-million for the purchase of more Wi-Fi hotspots for kids who need Internet access.

Tarrant County has ordered the delay of in-person classes until September 28th because of the pandemic.
