Texas Republican Louie Gohmert Tests Positive For Coronavirus

(Washington, DC) — Texas Republican Congressman Louie Gohmert is in quarantine after testing positive for the coronavirus.

He was scheduled to fly to Texas on Air Force One on Wednesday. The eight-term lawmaker told CNN last month that he didn’t wear a mask because he was tested regularly.

Gohmert was part of this week’s House Judiciary Committee hearing, so Attorney General William Barr was tested to see if he had the virus. Barr’s results were negative.
