(Granbury, Tx) – Starting today and running through Aug. 9th drivers in the area of Highway 377 and State Highway 171 should expect traffic delays and detours due to ongoing construction Cresson Relief Route project.
Workers will be placing steel beams over SH 171 and the adjoining rail yards. Some roadways will be closed for safety concerns. SH 171 will have roadway closures just east of Slocum Ranch Road (west of US 377), causing traffic to be detoured from SH 171 to US 377 southbound and travel to Farm to Market Road 167 northbound and to FM 3450 eastbound to SH 171 (reverse for the opposite direction).
Lane closures will occur each night 7p-6a on weekdays. Weekend closures will be continuous Saturday evening starting at 7p thru 10a Sunday morning.
Detour route signs will be along the roadway to assist motorists.
