Child Killed In Burleson Carjacking

(Burleson, TX) — A child is dead after a carjacking outside of a Burleson hospital.

Police say this happened Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of Texas Health Huguley Hospital, where a suspect in a carjacked vehicle hit the child. The child’s mother was also injured. The suspect, 30-year-old Nico Delafuente of Fort Worth was taken into custody and faces a charge of Capital Murder.

The child’s name hasn’t been released.
