(Fort Worth, TX) — A suspect charged in the death of a child during a carjacking in Burleson is out of the hospital.
Police say Nico Dela-Fuente, who is charged with capital murder and robbery was released into police custody yesterday. His bond was set at $350,000. The 30 year old Dela-Fuente is accused of stealing a woman’s car in the parking lot of Texas Health Huguley Hospital on Sunday. That’s when he allegedly hit the woman with the vehicle, causing her to drop her one-year-old son, and then ran them over.
The child, who has been identified as Zayden McLean would have celebrated his second birthday on November 15th.
