AAA Texas: Statewide Gas Price Up Two Cents From Last Week

(Update) — The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is a $1.81 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up two-cents from a week ago, and is 46-cents less than a year ago. The national average is $2.13. Crude oil prices are climbing, but the pandemic is keeping demand low as people drive fewer miles.

The average price at the pump in North Texas is a $1.81.
