(Fort Worth, TX) — Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley is asking churches and civic organizations to go back online and stop getting together in-person.

Some churches have offered only virtual services since the pandemic started.  But, Whitley says the current spike in coronavirus cases means they should all stream online, and that civic groups such as the Lions and the Rotary Club should meet remotely as well.

Whitley is asking for a meeting with Gov. Greg Abbott to urge him to give county authorities more say-so to enact emergency measures.
