Palo Pinto General Hospital Treats Record Number Of COVID-19 Patients

(Mineral Wells, TX) — The Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, is struggling with the surge of COVID-19 cases in the region and is treating a record number of patients.

Hospital officials say their ICU and COVID units are full, and they’re transferring patients to other hospitals in the Metroplex. Palo Pinto General received a record number of 50 coronavirus patients yesterday.

Texas recorded almost 14-thousand new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, along with 166 additional fatalities.
