(Arlington, TX) — A Japanese pitcher is on his way to Texas to pitch for the Rangers.
The team signed right-hander Kohei Arihara to a two-year contract. The deal is reportedly worth more than six-million-dollars. The 28-year-old pitcher went 8-and-9 with a 3.46 ERA in 20 starts last season for Hokkaido.
